On August 7, 2009 Tux and Christy's litter will be 4 weeks old. Time flies when you're having fun! Humans have to learn to write blogs at "puppy speed" to stay on top of the timeline.
The puppies have been moved from the whelping box to their new puppy pens. This move was precipitated when the litter managed to crawl out of the box one night last week. An early morning puppy hunt ensued and after searching behind the couch, under the chairs and tables and under the TV stand, all the puppies were wrangled and deposited back with Christy.
They've already been introduced to their new food. Yum yum, a nice mixture of pureed kibble and cottage cheese. Mom is relieved because her boys and girls are getting big and hungrier by the day. They are becoming more active and fun to watch as they learn that the world is full of wonderful adventures.
So now is the time for many decisions. Several clients of Sherbil's Kennel have expressed interest in the litter and we have our favorites. As the title of this blog obviously expresses...we will be selecting a son of Tux and Christy to be our new family member.
